Heigo Alloy Rear Cage Anyone?

Hi Gents (and any ladies!)

I have a brand new Heigo alloy rear cage, unpainted, and never even fitted to my car. It is the one that has the two diagonals, rather than one (orange painted on the Hiego website).

I have decided to go for a full weld in cage instead.

It is only a month or so old.

Anyone interested in it?

I will just bung it on ebay if not.

Just one word of caution, I believe that alloy cages are not approved for motorsport in UK.

Thanks for your responses........ I have just checked and I paid £955.12 - ouch!

Also, Clive is spot on re the alloy cages. See the Cage Thread on the 964RS section. I have gone for a full weld in cage instead following advice there any taken elsewhere that the alloy cage is not what I need as I do some enthusiastic track driving and also want to take part in some competition where I will need an FIA approved cage. Baiscally, I wasted a grand and am just trying to get something back.......

I am based in Bath and will happily deliver the cage a resonable distance (excuse to go for a drive!).

except that mine is just alloy and not painted anywhere. It is a lovely bit of kit and very nicely made, just I have decided to go the FIA approved route.

As for fitting a 993 - I think it does, but check with Heigo website.

Already had one sensible offer that I need to consider......
