Hella headlights

Just popped over from the 944 forum to ask a question on behalf of a friend of mine who has just got himself an SC. He's moved over the the states and bought one stateside - and loves it by the way. Apparently the US cars were fitted with a different headlamp system to the European LHD cars that use a Hella system and the US headlights are not much use at all. As a result the Hella headlights are in high demand in the US and command a good price so my mate has asked me to look into to sourceing a pair in the UK for him assuming they are cheaper here than in the US. Apparently he needs the headlamps, fittings and the chrome trim rings. Anyone able to advise me?

Cheers.

No probs John. I was actually wondering about the availabilit of the Hella kits intended for LHD european cars but I agree with you that the Hella unit are likely to be pants too. I'm trying to convince him to go down the HID conversion route.

Try HIDS4U they do Xenon bulbs and power units which fit into a H4 type holder, I have fitted them to mine and the difference is day and night.
