just replaced the window regulator on the drivers side, first issue, it attempts to move down at the end when you go to open the door handle but does nothing...yet it does go up on its own
second issue, the air bag light now is on, third issue, now the rev counter does nothing and i have no electronic speedo, but the center instruments work as in the milage and air temp.... can anyone help pleaseee

reset what?

I fear you may need to go to the dealership/independent to get the airbag light reset using the PST2 equipment...

i'm just going to get a program myself to diagnose any codes and reset the airbag myself, as for the window problem i shall just get some contact clearer and see if its the sensor thats faulty

Re the window.. once you fit and align the glass properly in the clamps you can access the adjusters through the set of rubber blanking stops at the bottom of the door. its a bit of a pain as the window has to be fully down to do it and keep going therough the shutting opening the door process till it functions correctly.

the airbag light is on as i'll bet you turned the ignition on after disconnecting the airbag so you could access the glass clamps to align the window. (ask me how i know this !)

unfortunately the ONLY way to reset the light is a trip to the main dealer or a specialist with full access computer system OBDII will not turn it off.

thanks guys, its in getting the bits fitted tomorrow so i shall get them to have a look at it hopefully they can do he reset as they have a machine :)
