Hello All

Coming to join you from the mid engined boys at the Cayman forum as I have PX'ed my car for a 997. Picking the 997 up on saturday from Sheffield - then got a nice drive back to Essex.

Have changed car because with a 6 & 4 year old the Cayman was not getting used enough, so here is my first, if somewhat dull question. Can anyone advise me of the best booster cushion to fit in a 997 - don't want to fall foul of plod and the new child seat regulations.

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matty
Welcome to the 997 register - the Cayman is a fine model, but for you the extra seats will be handy! You'll enjoy the extra horses and shove, although personally the 987 and Cayman are sweeter handling than the 911 (IMHO)
Cheers

Yes the 911 does handle different to the Cayman - I wonder why [;)]
But its infecious when you get it right [:D]
I have no kids, so sorry can't help with the seat, maybe a quick search through the 996 area will add some information..

i moved in the opposite direction!
sold the 911 last yr when the kids were so big they could no longer fit in the back...and moved on to the cayman s -best decision ever as IMHO it handles far sweeter than either my old motor or the 997 c2 and c2s i tested..confirmed on recent trackday when the caymans outcornered everyting else....but we all have our prefernces-- whichever they are they are all porsches!!!and obviously better than anything else!!

All the booster seats I have seem to work fine. May be worth trying without the seat base - only held on with velcro.
