Hello all

Long time and no posts, a fair bit has happen since the last time I view the 912 forum...just skimmed through the last 365 days of post and didn't see anything I had read before!

Since the last time I posted I have:
  • Had a daughter (Ella now 5 months old)
  • Nearly sold the 12 (twice)
  • Nearly brought a 924 carrea GT
  • Stripped the 12 for paint.
  • Booked the 12 in with Terry Allen for painting this July.
  • Agreed with Andy Prill to get the top end of the engine sorted while it is getting painted.
The next steps post paint are light weight bumpers, full cage ( rear already fitted), suspension rebuild then a few track days in 2008 and take it for there!

One thing I haven't sorted yet is a new sunvisor for the driver side (lh)....anyone got one for a SWB car (68). I think they are meant to be black and whiteish.

Hi Jon . . .
Looks like you've been busy . . . sounds like the 12 will be ready for a trip down to Classic Le mans next year.

Don's suppose you've considered the classic track day on the 31st July this year (following Classic Silverstone event)?

Yep, that would be great, or maybe the oldtimer GP at the Ring! I have been to the ring many times with work testing but never to the oldtimer GP, althought I have heard good things.

Hey Jon,
You have been busy! Congratulations!

Been busy too here, moved house, might even buy a Landy!

What colour is Tel going to paint the car then?

Don't be a stranger.
Cheers

Do you have a garage with the new place?

Terry is going to take it back to the ogrinal.....Ivory Grey I think[;)]

Gone from having no garage to having this, me thinks I made the right descision?

Going to pick up my car from storage next week in Manchester so can't wait to 'move in'... happy days!
I think the decorating might take a back seat for a few weeks, some of the roads here are peachy and mercifully empty of plastic pigs.

Should look excellent in Ivory Grey I recon, Andy P might know of some bumper places, I know Autofarm used to do them (£££).
