Hi Guys,

I'd like to introduce myself as the new assistant RO for R1 (if you spotted it in this month's post!). For those of you that haven't met me before, my name's Ash. I've been in the club for about 2 years now and I've decided to join in with support of some fellow members. I'm looking forward to meeting you all very soon - hopefully at next month's meetings / events.

Hi Charles,

The position for RO is to be confirmed next month by the Club. I'll try and keep you posted as soon as I hear anything.

Was speaking to a friend last night about the PCGB and he gets e mails keeping him updated about up and coming events from Alan Seadon and albeit I have been a member now for a number of years, I don't get these e mails since Greig and Kenny stepped down, has anyone else been getting them? Oh I still have the same e mail address for the record.

I also recieved the Popinjay invite. I guess it may have something to do with not paying the yearly subscription to wither you may or may not recieve PCGB emails/letters! Meowwwwwwwwwwwww

Yes all being well I should be at Dakota on the 7th February

Just had a thought, maybe I never got the e mails as it is maybe not expected that my TVR would go that far without breaking down [8D]

Zhan, strange that I used to get e mails from both Kitchens and Greig when they were both our RO's that is what I don't understand.

However I will check if I am registered with the Scotland forum.

Hi Jane! Will definitely be making it to the Dakota meeting on the 7th. I've emailed you details for Popinjay.

I've had a chat with Alan Seadon about communication to members within the region. We are keen on avoiding sporadic correspondence to members and would prefer a degree of consistency across the board.
Hence,for details on future events and meetings, please refer to the Porsche Post as it is the official method of conveying information across, though I'll make sure you get copied on future emails too [;)]

On a more positive note (hello to you too Gotta996!) , I will be working together with the RO to bring in some exciting events over the next few months and ones that will cater for a wide audience. Details on next month's Post hopefully!

Coming back to Charles' earlier question, Alan Seadon has volunteered to stay till the summer months as RO.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact me or Alan if you have any queries.

Looking forward to meeting you next week at Dakota and you too gotta996. Maybe I should come in disguise? Seems my reputation is going before me somehow.

Now did someone fix those poles for the dancing? [8D]

Well off for a bath, meeting LBD for a meal tonight and me being the "oldie" here needs to tart herself up somewhat [:(]
