Hello all,

Just wanted to say hi to the forum, as I collected my 1996 MY 993 C2 manual coupe this week.

She is Polar Silver with full black leather, photos to follow soon.

Detailed her today and really looking forward to taking her out on Saturday, when the sun will apparently be out to play as well!

Waiting for my membership to be confirmed with PCGB and looking forward to being back in the club again, attending events and sharing knowledge etc.

I was a member of PCGB when I had my last 993 back in 2004, which was a 1994 C2 Cabriolet.

Based in Berkshire, so will hopefully attend some SE regional and national events this year.

Sam

Sam Welcome back to the club and 993 ownership. Look forward to the photos soon

Thanks for saying hi and your welcome back messages. I came back to 993 ownership as I went to an M5 and an SL in between, but never, ever felt the same connection I had with my earlier 993. It took me around 12 months to decide which 911 to get, switching between pre-89, 964, 993, 996 and even other manufacturers, but always came back wanting a 993 again. So here I am with a 993 again, knowing I made the right choice! The spec of my car is as follows: November 1995, (1996 MY) Varioram 993 C2 Manual Coupe Polar Silver Black leather interior including headlining (was leather headlining standard?) 44,600 miles 030 Sport Group 058 Bumpers with impact absorbers 220 Locking differential 224 Active Brake Differential 373 Left Sport Seat w/ Power Height Adjuster 374 Right Sport Seat w/ Power Height Adjuster 408 18" Technology Design Wheels (1996) 425 Rear Wiper 490 Hi-Fi sound system 567 Windshield green graduated tint 573 Air conditioner 602 Third brake light "High mount" 650 Sunroof 659 Onboard computer 680 Digital Sound C16 UK Lux spec I wonder how much all these options would have cost when the car was new? Is there a price list of options anywhere from back in 1996?
