Hey Dyllan, how do you go about getting a cert of authenticity? I've not heard about this before

Matt

Send us an email to dongawoy@btinternet.com and i will send you back an application form for the certificate. As dyllan say's, free of charge to porsche club gb members, around £60 to everyone else. I got mine through the post today also, a nice addition to the history.

Oh and by the way very nice car andrew, welcome to the club. Do you know if the car was spec'd when new with cup alloys rather than the turbo style one's?

Hi Neil

Yes it came with 17" Cups. As I understand it the 18" hollow spokes were an extra although most cars seemed to have been specced that way or have had them added at a later date. I'll be keeping the 17"s for now anyway.

ORIGINAL: 993C4S_KO

Get the wheels changed quick !  WB 993s need 18inch alloys !!

Of course the C4S always rolled on 18" solid spokes. The C2S had 17" as standard - and some say that it rides and handles better that way [;)]. At the moment, I quite like the fact that it's different from most other WB cars.

Good for you[;)]... looks a very nice car - have fun!
That first pic of it (from the rear) looks like it'd never fit in the garage[:D].

There's nowt wrong with 17" cups, I reckon they look good on your car. They are a more comfortable ride, less tramlining, lighter weight, wear cheaper tyres and look the bees knees in my view.

PS they are also the original fitment to your car, which is nice.
