Hello from Newcastle

Just a quick hi... I'm now the embarrassingly proud driver of a 981 Cayman, which I picked up a month ago. I arrived here via a 718 about 4 years ago, which was very quickly replaced by a glorious Mustang GT which both terrified and almost bankrupted me, and then an E-220d cabrio which made me feel like the fun part of my life was over. It feels very good indeed to be back in the fold, and the good weather and end of lockdown cannot come quickly enough.

Take care everyone

Damian

Welcome back !

I second that - re: end of lockdown and better weather.

Bring it on !

Newcastle.

Wasn‘t you in the red 944 I exchanged a wave with on the A1 about a fortnight ago, was it?

Hi Damian

Welcome to R3. We normally have a varied events calendar however with the current Covid restrictions we do not anticipate having any in person activities Easter at the earliest. In the meantime we are holding our monthly club meetings via Zoom. Details are sent out via our monthly newsletter. We will drop you an email with some useful information and look forward to welcoming you in person when able to do so.

Nope. Sorry. But Hi anyway.

Mine‘s not red, it’s also (still) not on the road yet!

Welcome, I do like it when an owner waves, MG owners always did it, in my youth with a Midget - good grief how that car didn't kill me I shall never know. I tend to wave and when they do not wave back I scratch my head to recover the situation.

So I shall continue waving knowing others do it.
