Hello everyone,

You may have seen me and my car in the October '19 edition of Porsche Post (Club Life - The Time is 911) but thought I would just say hello here and post a few more pictures of my pride and joy. I love the way the car looks, feels and drives and that the GT Silver seems to change according to the light.

I've had some nice cars in the past but after such a long wait (45 years) this one feels extra special, in fact to be honest I still can't believe I finally have my 911. I'm still popping out to the garage for a quick peek or just to sit inside and I haven't done that for years!!

Look forward to meeting you.

Very impressed you had the patience to wait 45 yrs!
some of us can’t manage 4 months !!
enjoy

Well done, Mark, your 911 looks absolutely fantastic.

I can fully understand your enthusiasm, as, even after 14 years and thousands of miles in my 993, I still enjoy just looking at the beauty in the garage and realise how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to enjoy and drive such a marvellous car [:D]

Thanks! I'm glad it's not just me - my other half says, unlike some women, at least she knows where I've disappeared to...

Not sure who said it but, if you don't get the urge to look back when you park up and walk away, then you don't have the right car. Looks like I'm going to be walking into lampposts for some time to come. [;)]

lol! I'm relieved to find out that its not only me that sits in the car in garage just to hold the steering wheel!

Sounds like those of us who are afflicted by this urge need a T-shirt.

Thanks!
What do you mean? Large, adequate ventilation. Agent assured me it had 'rust'ic charm [;)]

Could someone please explain what's going on with the ginormous emoticons? They look tiny when selected and then BAM, size of a house.
Am I doing something wrong when posting or have my settings wrong?
