Hello, New 944 Owner...

Guest

New member
Hi guys, I am a new 944 owner, well, sort of.

I have not picked the car up yet, but I am as excited as a fat kid in a sweet shop.

944s, Guards Red and with 17 inch Cup One alloys...Smashin.

Never driven a 944, so I am a little aprihensive (spelling?) but it seems like a good support network on here, and the buyers guide was useful.

I am picking the car up next Saturday from Surrey, and driving back to Glasgow, so I will report on my drive back, and take some pics on the way.

Cheers

Stevie

Welcome to the madhouse. I'm sure you'll enjoy driving the 944 and half the fun is getting to know it. However like everything in life take it a bit easy at first - especially in slippery conditions, and you'll get used to it in no time.

That's a nice long drive to get used to the car and spot the minor niggles that you're bound to find.

Enjoy [:)]

We'll await your list when you get home [:D]

Welcome along, but you'll have to do better than a red 944 with 17" Cups. What us it, 2.5, 2.7, Turbo, S, S2?

Hello and welcome.
You will find with your journey back to Glasgow that the 944 is an gran tourer. Eats the miles and really comfortable whilst doing so, keep your eye on the speedo when on the motorway.
Enjoy,

Cheers for the replies guys.

Fen, I wish mate, I would love an S2 or a turbo, but this one came up at the right price.[:)]

Cant wait folks.
