Hi i've just joined the club and have had my boxsterS for a month now.would have preferred to use my name but there are 3 others with the same name! It was good to see a few familiar names from another forum here so i dont feel a total stranger. It has been fantastic driving the boxster around ,a few top down drives as well.

I was offered a place on the porsche driving school which is held at MIRA , it is quite expensive at £550!!. Have any of you been there is it worth it ? I would appreciate it if anyone could give me any pointers to a good driving course, heard about bruntinthorpe etc. thanks [:D]
 
feels strange replying to my post , searched topics found usefulinfo on track day preparation not on courses. just getting used to the forum. says i'm non member! may accept me later[;)]

Highway,

If you read to the bottom of the email sent to you on joiningthe forum, it tells you how to get the correct "member" status. The staff in the office will of course not be in until later in the week. (It is a manual process at the moment).
 
Hi Highway nice to see you on this forum, in order to be registered as a member you need to e-mail your full name, your PCGB membership number and your Forum ID to sophia@porscheclubgb.com and she will register you as a full PCGB forum member asap. as mark says at the moment she has to do this manually so please be patient.

i note you say you found the answers to your questions on driver training. so won't replto that .
 
Hi Helen thanks for the info. ....I would like any info on driving courses please , i only found info on preparing for track day
i see your avatar is your box burning rubber at brunters [:)]

porsches own driving school appears to be very expensive

so any info driving school, would be great

This Highway is not "The" Highway from Boxa.net as he is Steve but this Highway could be one of the Ravis (Ravalmet???)
