Hi Philip, Welcome to the forum. That's a very nice car for your first Porsche. A good choice. I wish you many miles of happy, trouble-free motoring.

Hi
New to the forum and Porsche.
Have recently recieved my first Porsche a 2004 Polar Silver 996.
I haven`t stopped grinning since.
Looking forward to finding some quiet roads around South Devon.

Hi Phil, Welcome to the forum. I am sure you will be grinning for a long time to come. [:)]

Hi Phil, Welcome from me too! I can show you a great 90 mile or so (extendable to 150) round trip from Tavistock which I use to blow away the cobwebs. Perfect for our cars if you're over this way anytime. Just mail or PM Cheers Alan

Careful Alan ! Presume your cobwebs blow away at the legal speed limits. Mine however .................... have to be carefully dusted off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I will let you know if I can get the webs off the GT3 illegally at Silverstone in July. Happy motoring

Only metaphorically, Simon! Of course always legal. It's still a great circuit of Devon and Cornwall!

Alan. Is that an inviation from you to arrange an early Sunday morning blap for the R15 crew ??

Sorry Tony, been away on hols. I'd love to arrange such an outing - name the date!

Alan As discussed at Club Night I think a run of say 50 - 75 miles in your neck of the woods would be a great idea. We just need to agree a date and see who is interested. If this were a Sunday in late August or early September and perhaps we aimed for an early start, say 8.30am with a breakfast stop and all back home by say 11.00 for any family commitments, who would be interested?
