HELP! 02 carrera 2 faulty fuel sensor?

Just picked my car up from birmingham yesterday and drove all the way north to John o'groats perfectly. Went to start her this morning and i've got a message saying i have a faulty fuel level report to garage. Problem is nearest opc is 350 mile round trip! Has any body had this before and know of any quick fix? eg loose conections etc? Any help greatly appreciated.
 
Yes I had the similar problem. Took the car back to the OPC 3 times before the fault was found. Apparently there are to pipes leading into the fuel tank an under the left wing I think . One for releasing pressure in the tank and the other for increasing pressure depending on driving style. My 2004 C2 Cab had the pipes connected the wrong way round. I had a lot of unnecessary work carried out before the problem was found.
