My beloved Pablo decided to have a misfire today :(

I have put it down to the ht leads balking under the pressure of hard acceleration.

Now the advice I need is this, it seems that the leads and dizzy cap are identicle from that of a Volvo 740 can anyone confirm or deny this for me please.

Many thanks

I'll watch this one closely ... sounds interesting ...

The one way to find out for sure is to buy a 740 dizzy cap and try it out. Such random overlaps of fitment do happen occasionally. (I recall that fitting a 16v engine to a Mk1 Golf meant that the HT leads would foul the header tank, but if you fitted the cap from a Renault 5 then the HT leads came out at a 90 degree angle and all was well .... )

The ECU is broadly similar to that used in the Volvo too, along with countless BMWs, so Id expect other coomon parts to be discovered...
