HELP! Can't find my service history booklet!

Hi folks, Ive recently moved house after moving into temporary accomodation whilst I worked on my new house. In the process of moving, during which period I had a full service carried out on my Boxster, I have misplaced (or lost) my service history booklet.
The car was a personal import in 2001 so I have the original German version of the booklet with 1 service stamp in but the uk version of that booklet is nowhere to be found. This contains all of the services over the last 6 years or so all of which have been Porsche in various parts of the country.
Can anyone advise? Is it a case of tough luck and hope it turns up or can I get a replacement asking my local Porsche dealer to trace back the UK history and services?

Thanks in advance.

If all the services have been done by OPC's the history will be on file. Your OPC should be able to confirm and print it out. As for the service book you are probably out of luck. New books are available but getting all the old stamps etc. re-entered is unlikely especially since all the OPC's have changed their names. Therefore they would not have the appropriate stamps even if they were prepared to use them, which I doubt. Good luck.

If I were you I would have a word with your OPC, because they can order a new Warranty and Maintenance Booklet. They are listed in the PET, and I think you want part number WKD 900 020 01 (Warranty and Maintenance - English) if the car is MY2001. If you can get the service history from Porsche, or have receipts for the services, then I would imagine that you could get it stamped by circulating it to the appropriate dealers. It is worth trying anyway.

Thanks for the help, I searched everywhere last night and still had no luck. Richard, I am going to contact Porsche and see what they say as its definately worth a try. I do have receipts from the services in the past - missing one I think - but as you say Geoff997, some of the garages don't actually exist anymore or go under a different name!
I'll let you know the results. In the meantime if anyone else has been stupid enough to do this please let me know your outcome. Thanks
