I bet your first thoughts were the same as mine after seeing this title, DME relay or Crank sensor!
Info from my mechanic: -

No fault codes present with Duramectrics

We have a good wave signal from the cranksensor plus you can see the ecu sees the crank reference signal.

We have fuel, fuel pressure, injector pulse and spark but -3deg ignition timing.

Air flow meter is reading the correct voltages as per std engine.

All pined out to the ecu also.

The manual says that if the knock sensor is faulty the ignition will retard by 6 degrees.

We would like to check out the knock sensors, however there is nothing in the workshop manual for pin out resistance!

Does anyone know what the resistance should be?

and how much the ignition is advance in normal circumstances.

Knock sensors disconnected made no difference but still no fault codes either.

Any pointers would be appreciated
Shawn
