Help CDR- 22 Stereo not working

Guest

All,

Does anyone know if the CDR-22 has fuses in the back of it??

The battery in my car was flat at the weekend and since getting it restarted the stereo will not come back on. I have checked the fuse in where the fuses are and its ok but replaced it anyway.

The car seems so quiet not having some tunes to listen to..

It's not coming on for me to enter the code!! I wondered if there was maybe
some fuses in the back of the stereo but i can't remove it to check..

Hi,

They do have a small fuse in the back. You will need the radio removal tool to get the radio out.I have some but need them myself. I live in Liverpool, if it's any use i could lend you mine if not Try e:bay for the tool, usually only a couple of pound. As a last resort you could try Halfords they may take pity on you and replace the fuse.

Dave,

I was thinking of trying Halfords. Maybe bung the chap behind the counter a couple of quid to help me out.

Thanks for your reply.

David

Just thinking, Halfords may sell the radio removal tool also. The fuse is very small 10amp?

If you can't get it sorted I will post my radio removal tools as long as you post them back to me when finished with.

On holiday from the 17th for just over a week.

Let me know Tues or Wed.

Dave,

Went to Halfords yesterday and they had the keys to remove the stereo and sure
enough it was the 10amp fuse that had gone.

Thanks for nearly lending me your removal tools - much appreciated.

Regards

David
