Help.....cooling fans.

New member
Brakes rebuilt, new mot and ready to take her to Tatton Park on Sunday to VWNW, cooling fans not kicking in, changed the rad sensor, linked out the plug and the fans work fine, swapped over the relay to a friends car fine ?
Replaced the sensor with old sensor and checked the new one in a cup of boiling water it switches but has resistance, should it be a clean switch ie no resistance, as said link the plug and the fans work fine, also slow speed comes on when you switch the air con on ?
Car is staring to pee me off now, any ideas anyone ?
Another sensor being picked up tomorrow, if not sorted going in the 911 but I really wanted to take the 944 ??
 
Cheers fella, yes I know first speed on with air con but not enough to cool it, suspect the new sensor is dodgy, too late to change it now, so going in the 997, but really wanted to take the 944, meeting my matey in his , it would have been a rare site to see 2 together munching down the M6 and then parked together
