Any View's Apreciated

Took the car for a run Last weekend (993 C2) very nice day.

performed fault free. Finnished day by parking in Garage no Problems. Hooked up the battry manager as did not know how long it would be before it was going to be exercised again. Anyway cut long story short. Weather forcast for today is dry and clear but cold so go to get it out of garage. However no Joy. Ignition comes on plenty of power but no go. Induction blower fan seems to be running and Starter motor is turning but it does not seem to engage to turn over engine.

Tried turning motor over by hand just in case it's just found a dead spot but still no Joy.

Before I start pulling thngs to bit's

Any advice on what it may be or things that 993's are known for.

Regards
Mike Neave

Thanks for the advice

It is the Pinion sticking when very cold, As soon as the car warms up a bit then no problem.

Mike..

when I 1st got my car I had a 'similiar' problem...

car just wouldn't fire up..... and it turned out that the some of the spark plugs were loose or virtually handing out of their sockets.. so the car was trying to fire up on only the odd spark plug...

new plugs securely in place solved the problem.....

could be ??

regards
