Help!! - disastrous prang, need recommendation

My pristine '03 Boxster is ruined - some d1ckhead decided the other day that the way to resolve an argument about right of way was to thump my passenger door. I've got a very minor 1 inch dent that is visible if I look at the car from a certain angle, it's driving me nuts. Hardly anyone else but me can see it but I'm putting off washing the car as it's only going to be more visible. Please help [:(].
Can anyone recommend a dents person that they've used in the Edinburgh area - the dent is a line, hardly noticeable by anyone but a proud owner.
 
Sorry to hear that. I have used Dent Devils before with a 6 series and an E Class and they have been fine, they can come to your house and have a look and give you an idea of how good a job they think they can do. No doubt someone has had a bad experience with them but they have been good with me. http://www.dentdevils.co.uk/home.htm

You could always find out who your local OPC use for body work and get a quote directly from them.
 
Try this chap, Dominic Northrop, of Perthshire Dent Repair on 07852 307877.

He helped a friend of mine get a dent out of a 996, and he advised me on my Cayman, and moreover he is an ex Porsche technician. If it is out of his patch, I'm sure he'll put you on to someone else. Nice bloke too.

thanks for the info everyone. I didn't put a dent in his nose because as it happened 3 Policemen arrived along just ater it happened - they detained the guy and checked some nearby cctv. Unfortunately it didn't show him thumping the car so it was his word against mine - no evidence to pursue the issue. Still, I got his name from the Police and was able to complain to his employer as he was driving a company van, and it was the sort of company that is taking my complaint pretty seriously. So he'll not be doing it again in a hurry.


 
I had the bad luck to have a drunk kick various dents in both doors of my Boxster and used a chap called Alex who was then Dentmaster and I think is now Dent Wizard-07970542371. He is excellent and reasonable cost. Hope he can sort your car.
