Just got my 944 S2 from garage but drivers side electric window will not work from drivers side switches, passsenger window works fine, both windows worked fine when it first went into garage, fuses are fine, what is the fault has the drivers side motor failed ? or is it one of the swiches acting up, anybody had this problem that can help with an answer as I dont want to start taking the door cards of if its a simple common problem, please help if you can as I'am new to S2 ownership.

try swapping working switch (passenger side) and substituting it into drivers side switch and if it works then you know you have dodgy switch, otherwise get multimeter and see where power is reaching to inside the door, if there is power going to motor when switch is operated and its doesnt go, you will know its the motor, good luck

I see that you have checked the fuse/s ? can't remember off hand if each switch is seperatly fused but there is a fuse and relay schematic on the underside of the fusebox lid.
I think you are going to have to remove the card unfortunately.
