I've not used PM before..........however I've looked in my 'Inbox' on my profile and nothing is there ?
Have you sent a message ........ if so could give you me a hint where to find it ?
What settings do I need switched on in my profile other than 'allow users to pm you' ?

I suggest using the "e-mail" rather than "pm", it works better. Alternatively, put your address in a post without making it obvious to trawlers, for instance "joebloggs at ntlworld.com" replace "at" with "@" This gets around some people's fears that their e-mail will be spammed to oblivion!
