Help for Wedding Please

Hope someone can point me in the right direction here, a friend is getting married on May 12th and would like to hire a porsche (no specific model but i think from 996 / boxster onwards) for her fiance for the day of the wedding for him to drive to the church in.

she has a few firms who will do this but none locally does anyone know of a local firm who could provide this service please?

thanks
Julie

Hi Julie
You are not getting much response so far. Yours is a very nice 996. Have you thought about providing this service yourself. You could insist on it being chauffeur driven (by you), and charge them not a lot of money, seeing as you know them!!

Hi,

I know Hertz do prestige car hire, they are the only ones I can think of in your area

HI alan

the thought had crossed my mind, but she wants it for him to drive!! I did suggest as he may have other things on his mind (the wedding?) it might be better to have him driven on the day and present him with a gift cert for a track day at croft in a porsche but she wasn't keen.

I have found a couple of sites based in newcastle and darlington from the web who would do this so i've passed the contact details on to her, and unless someone comes up with a brainwave in the meantime i'll leave it with her now.

cheers
Julie

Can't he just book a test drive from your local OPC, turn up in his wedding suit and then off to the church.

Avis have a 997 on their books. Someone else asked a similar question on this forum a few months back and although not cheap the Avis option proved to be the favoured route.
