Help! I have inherited 4 Porsche wheels.

I seem to have inherited a set of what looks like new wheels and Tyres for a Porsche. Can anybody give me any info on what car they fit value etc?? They are a set of 4 alloys with the porsche badge - they are marked ET52 Made in Italy 7.5J x 17 H2. The tyres are new and they are Toyo Proxes T1-S 215/45ZR17 87W. 4Ply . I could always buy a porsche to go with the wheels but I dont even know which model they fit! (when I win the lottery!) Any info would be gratefully received!

Just a pity there was not a Porsche in the garage as well as the tyres .I am no expert but they look like Boxster wheels of an older model 99/2000 as far as the tyres are concerned they are not Porsche approved and Toyo do not seem to do a TI-S look for a date which is on the side wall should read (406) which means tyres made in March 06 or whatever year Toyo do a TI-R and are about £85 each I am sure some one with more knowledge (Mike 58) will come along and give you the right info on tyres

Brian is correctish
Toyo do make a T1-S Sport, fairly new to uk not an aggresive road tyre.
Wheels look like Boxster twist alloys
Value is always tricky as you need a local buyer, courier costs on an ebay sale are expensive. I reckon 50 a corner would be reasonable, but you could search on completed listing on ebay for a similar set of wheels and see what they sold at.
Tyre size doesn't sound wide enough for a Porsche though , I would have thought the min width would have been 255 on a 17" , this fact will limit appeal to a Porsche buyer , but ironicaly appeal to a VW enthusiast who often retro fit Porsche alloys on their cars, so check out their forums.

If all four wheels are 7.5J then there is NO Porsche they will suit, other than for spares, as every Porsche that would suit the offset will have staggered wheel sizes. The 7.5J wheels are only likely to be suitable for the front axle - and most cars would have 225/45 tyres fitted to that size wheel. With the tyres not being N rated might limit the market a bit and I suspect the original intention was to use these on a VW, as Mike suggested, with suitable PCD adapters.

thanks so much for all your info, I'm much clearer and also glad i didn't buy a porsche to fit them. It also makes more sense as to why they were left behind.
