Hi all,

I am a new owner of a Porsche having won it in a business competition a few weeks ago. The problem is that I have three kids and 2 seater convertible Porsches ( as much as my hubby would like to keep it!) really do not fit into my life at present. So I am now in the process of trying to find a buyer for it and try to reinvest the money into business.

I need your help in deciding the best place to try to sell it. Now I understand that you guys are really into your Porsches, so where would you look for one, if you were trying to buy one?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

As it is a prize there may be a cash or alternative vehicle option, or you could talk to the dealership supplying the car. They may sell it for you or give you a good trade in price as it is unused.

Being a new Boxster since you say 2 seater, depending on which model and the spec the new Boxster not being in the second hand market yet, you may even get a price better than list since there is a waiting list for these cars.

Hopefully this may help, there is always the chance of someone seeing your entry and making an offer.

Thanks guys.

It is already on Pistonheads.

It is not a new Boxster (I wish!) so not from a dealer, the person running the competition gave his cool car away so 2005 model. I did try to get cash instead but the option was not available.[&o] I have a feeling the winner was supposed to be another contender - a single guy who would have loved it - but then the Mum (me) snuck in and won instead. However, not that practical for me or my family. A great ride though! I had to take all the kids out in it at least once [:D] but now it is time for it to go.

Please do keep the suggestions coming.

This dealer in second hand porsches near Uxbridge, Middlesex is well regarded, selling to them could be an easy way to offload it.
