Well having owned a procession of p-cars im thinking of getting into a CS. This car on http://www.stoneleighprestige-performancecars.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=25839&pageid=1 the concours winning maritime blue. Just wondered if anyone on here recognised the car and could put me in touch with the previous owner so i can get a feel for whether its worth going to see the car.
I thought I recognised the reg and reading the information about the car I think I have seen it at shows. Stick a thread on the 968 forum (www.porsche968uk.co.uk) to see if anyone knows more. It does look a tunner and Martime seems to be THE colour to have at the moment.
Seems well priced but I would like to pay a little less (mine has just gone for less than £9K).
I would be a little weary of the full Porsche history and speaking of experience they dont really know the weak points of the 968 (cam wear, plate lift etc etc). I am sure it is a mint example but may be worth baring this in mind at getting a good specialist to check it out first.
Id love to pay a lot less but ive gone down the path of spending a little less on purchase and getting bill upon bill in my ownership before ...
OK well apparently ive got to buy a window sticker first before i can register and i wanted to go see the car this weekend. Dont spose youd be able to stick a post on the cars for sale section for me? Tad cheeky i know but if you dont ask ...
I love the blue .. awesome colour ... Yes specialist inspection will be a definite
