Hi,

first I'd like to say hello to everyone. I have been a member for two years now since I bought my Boxster back in 2005 but haven't managed to attend a meeting yet. I do hope to come to this Wednesday meeting work permiting.

Recently someone has managed to graze the paint on my rear bumper just above the number plate, Its not major but I do want to get it sorted. Can anyone reccomend one of the repair companies that come out to site (I'm in Nantwich)? I have asked Porsche Wilmslow, where I bought the car, but they only recomend taking it to Lloyds Autobody. Can anyone help me?

Many thanks

Paul (48371)

Hi Paul,

I would highly recommend marsden and bate, they are in Denton, i had my car fully resprayed, did an excellent job, the link to examples on their site shows my arena red 993.

Hi Paul,

I recently needed some paintwork and on searching the forum noticed that two names kept appearing as recommended bodyshops in the NW - Ninemeister (Warrington) and Cheshire Autobody (Mobberly).

I opted for Cheshire Autobody as they were closer, and my indi mechanic also recommended them.

However, to be quite honest, while the paint work they did was fine (colour match and quality of spray) there were a few small touches that have left me disappointed...

Regards, Neil.
