HELP! MY 997.1 TURBO NEEDS NEW EXHAUST GAS TEMP SENSORS PART NUMBER 99760625005

Hi,

This is my first post so apologies in advance if I get anything wrong. My 997.1 Turbo needs the above, but apparently Porsche have had 'quality control issues' with the latest batches and none are available. The latest part number is 99760625005. This has been going on since the issue was finally diagnosed in June by DMS (who chipped the car a couple of years ago along with GT2 cup exhaust and various other mods) as being the cause of boost dropping off (neither my OPC nor local specialist could work out what was going on).

Does anyone know where the part may be located, or have any information on when it might finally become available from the factory? Would be nice to see the car running full boost again...

I hope someone can help, thanks in advance.

Try a junk yard here or in the states. some advertise on the web and in Total 911 magazine and perhaps in Porsche Post, don't know.

also, try posting on 911uk.com. Lots of guys there swap out their exhausts etc. Perhaps they will have a spare.

I have been in the same boat since June, still on back order.


I have been in contact directly with Porsche Cars GB and they said they switched manufacturer of this part and are waiting for them to come in. Spoke to them a few weeks ago and the ETA was end of November. Fingers crossed!
