Hi, all i am a vw enthusiast myself.

But i was wondering if you guys could give me some help on some wheels i am interested in buying for my mk4 golf.

The wheels in questions are Porsche 964 3 piece split rims.

What i would really like to know and i have been hunting this down for a a couple of days now [:(] are the specs of these wheels. Such as sizes.

Many thanks for any helpful given i will be truly grateful [:D]

Any pics Ant?

Quite a few VeeDub lads run Porsche wheels with adapters (as im sure that youre aware).

If they are 964 wheels then it is likely that they are either genuine Speedlines (big bucks), replicas or a rim such as the RH series that were produced for the Porsche aftermarket. If they are then chances are they were made for the Turbo ./ widebody cars. These wheels are likely to be 8x18 front and 9 to10x18 rear. If you have a pic then we can may be have a stab at off-sets etc.

Im refurbing RH Turbo Ps for my NB 964 as we speak :)

No pics im afraid [:(]

Im not 100% if they are genuine or not. As you say i think they would more then likely be RH's! The seller has told me that they do come apart and are 3 piece splits!

Ive managed to get the wheel specs of the seller, but im unsure on what the wheels look like as i do not have any Porsche Knowledge :(

The specs that he has given me are as followed:
17inch.
Front : 8j ET49
Back: 9 or 10j ET 47

If anyone could point me in the right direction of finding out what the wheels do look like, as i can find many split porsche wheels on google, but not know that there the ones i could be buying!

Also the seller says he has some Porsche 930 Split rims. Now hes yet to get back to me on the spec, but im pretty sure he mentioned they are 18's. I would ideally prefer the 18 inch wheels.

If anyone could post up some pics of some Porsche 964 or 930 rims i would be very helpful :)

Thanks deutschland dobson for helping :)

Here's a link to Porscheshop who sell quite a few Porsche split rims. Im not saying to buy them off these guys, only that the pics may help you out :) Ignore the blatantly aftermarket ones down the bottom of the page though:

If they are 17s then they could be the following Speedline Porsche wheels:

Its a bit strange to be buying wheels without first seeing them tho bud. You must be getting quite a deal [;)]
