HELP PLEASE 996 BATTERYS

Hi everyone, I need help please

Does the 996 have more than the one main battery?, does it have a separate alarm batterys?

I left my 996 not charged for a few months and when I have come to remove the battery and disconnected the battery the alarm still goes off?- does this have a separate supply and does it have an issue I can resolve?

The alarm siren has a backup battery in it. The system thinks you are trying to steal the battery!

Before you disconnect the battery, switch the ignition on, then switch it off, but DO NOT remove the key. This will prevent the siren going off.
