Gary,
My first reaction is that it looks in good shape - but it ISN'T a 1993 car as advertised. It might well be REGISTERED in 1993 but it looks like it has the aluminium intake - as opposed to the plastic intake used on the cars built from June 1990 onwards. It's also not immediately obvious if the car has the all-important distributor venting modification either - look for a vent pipe attached to the body of the primary distributor.
None of this may be significant but it may give you some bargaining power. Check the VIN number to be sure - it will be in the format WPOZZZ96ZLS4xxxxx where the highlighted letter will be "L" for a 1990 model year car, M for 1991, N for 1992 and P for 1993. The xxxxx is the sequential production number of the car. If it's a 1990 car that wasn't registered until 1993 it will obviously have sat around for some time after build - as many did at that time.
It looks in nice condition though. Certainly worth a look - and an aggressive haggle methinks!!
Regards
Dave
Edit: I've just checked on PET and it seems the plastic intake manifold was introduced in the 1993 model year, not 1990 as I mentioned above. It still may mean that the car is a 1992 model though.
