Help replacing Inlet Manifold Gaskets Please

I've removed the air box, Airflow meter, heater fan and both ducts. I've removed all 12 inlet manifold nuts.

The whole inlet assembly is free, but will only lift a few millimeters up and I reckon I need to lift it 15mm - 20mm to be able to replace the gaskets - Is there something else that holds them, probably behind the engine where I can't see ?

Any help much appreciated. Thanks. David

All sorted - a couple of the gaskets were quite firmly stuck. Once freed I could lift the manifolds about 50mm (2ins) clear of the engine - but needed to disconnect the throttle as well.

Job done, new gaskets fitted and it makes a HUGE difference - smooth idle, no popping and banging in the exhaust - amazing how much a small inlet manifold leak can affect the running of the engine.

Good news is I don't need a new Airflow Meter [:)]
