Help - Tyres needed

Just taken my 1988 924S for a spin and got a puncher. Looks like new tyres will be needed. The tyres were on the car when I purchased it some time ago (nearly 6 years), so probably time for some new ones anyway.

I have the standard 15 inch teledials the car came with. I only drive it on the road so just want some good road tyres, not track.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks in advance

regards

I use Yokahama's on my Turbo and will be fitting a set on my 'S' in a couple of months. They are an exelent road tyre and well up to serious high speed use.
They have been on the Turbo since 2004 and that includes several Manx Tours were they are really pushed. In that there has been minimal were dispite highish mileage.

I have been using Fulda directionals on my 924 turbo and their wet grip is vastly superior to the Avon ZZ3. Tyre size would be similar at 195/?/15. Nitrogen filled to add to presuure stability.
