Help with replacing rear light cluster

Hi, I've got some hairline cracks in the plastic inserts of my off-side rear light cluster which keeps leaking water. Looking on-line I've seen some adverts for, what look like mine, however, when checking the OEM part numbers they differ. The ones advertised are 997.631.418.05, when I checked the rear cover of mine it identifies 997.631.418.03/LV. I'd be really grateful if someone could confirm whether I would be able to change my .03 for the .05 or if there's anything I need to check / worry about. A quick check on-line and I couldn't find any record of the .03.

Thanks in advance.

.03 is right hand rear light for 997 gen 2.
.05 does not appear on my copy of parts list but probably just later version or possibly colour variant. Suggest you contact your local Porsche Centre to verify.

If you are looking at the 9-apart item, I'd suggest giving them a call. I have bought a number of items and have found their product knowledge to be good, and their service in dealing with any issues to be excellent.

If you call and buy from them directly, you'll get a few % off + maybe they do member discount but have you checked your Centre price for this? they can be lower than even eBay.

BTW - The clear glass look variants (IXXG option) are 991 instead of 413 in the part number sequence.

Thanks both for getting back to me. Having trawled a few sites I've discovered that the .05 variants have superceded the older .03 variants. The original part numbers for these lenses were 997 631 417 02 (LEFT) / 997 631 418 03 (RIGHT). The new part numbers are now 997.631.417.05 (LEFT) and 997.631.418.05 (RIGHT).
