We would be very grateful to any members who are able to volunteer some time to help out with the event. The more volunteers we have, the less time each volunteer will need to provide.

We need:
9.30 - 10.30 - Help with parking concours cars in their correct places
9.30 - 12.30 (broken down into time slots) - parking visitor cars
10.00 - 10.30 and 12.00 - 1.00 - attending at the club tent to provide information to visitors about the event and about club membership (just when we are busy/lunch)
4.00 - 5.00 - helping take down gazebos and notices and clearing litter.

We can set up gazebos and information/notice posts ourselves and we are probably better left on our own to do this because we tend to change our minds several times about where everything should go!

Thank you
Carol & Mark

Wil be there 0830 and will help with set up and the gate till 1330 as I did last year ( if that suits you of course )- need to get away soon after that.

Hope that helps

That is fantastic but is also above and beyond. Hopefully there will be other helpers and you get chance to enjoy the event too.

Thank you very much

Carol

It's fine , and only pays back what you and Mark did at the Bridlington Event so am happy to do so.

Andrew

Hi Carol,

Linda & I will come along for the 09.30 - 10.30 slot - "Help with parking concours cars in their correct places" ( does that mean I get to drive them to park in postion!! ) and will help with anything else we can do.

Thanks,

Tony

Thank you to those who have already volunteered.

We could really do with some more people to step forward and help with parking. Any help you can give, even if it is only for a short period of time, will be really appreciated.

Hi Carol ,
I will help out with whatever you need .
will be available from 9am need to leave about about 3-30 pm .
I will have a friend with me so there will be 2 of us .

Thank you. Help with car parking from 10.00 to 11.00 will be great. If the two of you can work together, one on the gate and one directing cars in the car park that will be really helpful.

Ok then, I'll do my duty and help. I'm coming mid-morning so will fit in with others. Aim to leave 2.30-3.0. Just let me know who I'm taking over from and time.

Paul.

Thank you for all the offers of help - I think we have things covered now. So here is the plan but let me know if we need to change it:

Mark and I will set up - we are better left to our own devices so we can work things out in our own way
Tony and Linda will help from 9.30 to 10.30 - directing concours cars to their spots
Mike Hill and friend will be on the gate and in the car park to direct visitors to parking area from 10.00 to 11.00.
Could Andrew Warner and Paul Hunt take over from them from 11.00 to 12.00 please.
After this people there will still be people coming in but they can find their own way by then because it will be obvious.
Mike and Lisa Jackson will help cover the club tent between 12.00 and 1.00 to give us time to have a look round and have lunch and will help pack up at the end.
Chris and Linda Chappell are going to help pack up at the end and Chris is going to help judge the concours.

We are very grateful to you for your invaluable help. We couldn't do it without you.

Carol & Mark
