Chris, the car is gorgeous-pity about the garage & power supply![:)]

Damn -you beat me to it!![:D]

This new Porsche hybrid would be fine if you didn't have to lug a telegraph pole around......

Very nice car, I hope mine will look as nice in two weeks...

Happy with the Porsche satnav?
Any trouble with the silver-on-black plates?

Thanks guys [;)]

An induction loop should sort out the charger and no, no problems so far with the plates.

Not even with a very vigorous MOT in which I had also to replace the headlamp reflectors ....

P.S. Forgot to say, the Satnav screen is way too small, it doesn't really quite fit into the space provided, and a nice early Blaupunkt would probably have been a better choice ...
... as for bodywork, you seem to be making a fabulous job of your own car. Where did you learn to do that Leading ??

Thanks Des,

Next in line for banding --- I'm going to show it at the Lotherton Hall"Pride of Ownership" concourse on the 5th August.

Another first [;)]

I like it - but I'm colour-blind. [:D]

I love the purity of the shape of the early 911's and the simplicity of the machine before the onset of dynamic aids and stability control. [:)]

It'll be a handful going across those fields though to fetch your eggs and French-sticks every day monsieur! [:D]

You've started polishing!

Paul, you are so ... right [;)]

Actually we have a new footpath --- a straight line from my front door directly to the pub --- a public footpath via a rather intimidating field of Rape, all 8 feet of it !!

Fire extinguisher is not period but required to cope with deleterious effect of ethanol additive fuel on period ( or even recent) fuel lines [8|]

Thanks John --- at least super unleaded is still only 5% ethanol --- for this reason Porsche recommend Super rather than standard unleaded wich can now be 10% ethanol.

'Suppose I'd better remove the cable ties from the extinguisher :)

And I thought it was only the CFI (K-tronic fuel injection) that had the potential to burst into flames [:D]

Thanks Steve,

For me the impact bumpers elongate the car and make the shape even more distinctive ...

At least it does in this colour ...

The narrow rear wings make the shape even more linear ...

Not a wide boy [:D]
