Hesitancy at 2500 rpm.

Hi all,

I'm noticing a little hesitancy in the running of my car at 2500rpm ish. It's annoying (and noticeable) because I seem to end up sitting at those revs quite often!

Could this be indicative of a worn track on the Air-flow meter? I appreciate it could be many things!

Definitely worth a go mate. Don't be scared it's not that difficult if you use Clarks as a guide. Especially as they aren't cheap to buy and second hand good ones are quite rare.

Good plan- especially as I can remove it and dismantle the thing in the comfort of my kitchen! []

Will report back if I sort it/ completely screw it up!

look on You Tube too. There is a chap who shows you how to dismantle and move the pick up out to a different radius so you get a nice fresh track. Doesn't look too tricky at all - a bit fiddly maybe.

Mmmmm nice- I'll check that out!! It's been stalling occasionally today too :( think the inlet needs to come off, the vacuum hoses inspected and the ICV cleaned out! Doesn't look like any of it has ever been touched.. [8|]
