Hey I'm sam I'm new to the forum I have a Porsche 911 997 with a GT street body kit on,
I love my car loads I'm a part time pro mo model so have had a few shoots with my car this summer too
but unfortunately I've had a bad experience with a company called ***** centre in ****** & today after 6 months of them correcting engine damage they hve caused I collected a Very badly damaged Porsche :-( heart broken isn't the word, my bCk bumper is hanging off & my front skirt ripped...
It's the last thing on a long line of badness from this company so I'm here for advise & tips & a new specialist to check over all there botched work,
I've had so much done already this year and it's supposedly running right now but after they have blown my car 4 times I'm a little sceptical lol
Can anybody recommend anywhere around Nottingham East Midlands, I don't mind traveling if there good
Many thanks
Samantha

Sounds like you need both an independant Porsche expert to inspect your engine and a lawyer. Not really worth trying to solve this through Porsche themselves because the car has been modified and worked by a non-OPC garage. Hate to say it but you may end up needing a replacement engine then sue this company for damages - which will need a lawyer.

Chris.

Regards places to take it Hartec are the leading engine experts but I also recommend Revolution Porsche near Leeds.

Hi Sam and welcome to the forum. Firstly, I would mention that I have blanked out the name and location of the company you used to comply with our forum rules. I have also moved the thread to the 997 forum where you might get a better response.
Secondly, you say they fixed engine damage which they caused. How so?

I would not rule out getting the car checked out at a Porsche Centre. Body mods shouldn't bother them unduly and and they would be able to tell you if the engine is now OK. They might welcome the opportunity to get you back "in the fold"!

Very sorry to hear about your problems Samantha.

If you don't feel comfortable taking the car to your local Porsche Centre, Zentrum [ http://www.zentrum.co.uk/ ] based in Nottingham are a local Indy who should be able to give you some worthwhile advice before you take matters further with company who've caused you all the bother.

Hope you get things sorted so that you can enjoy driving the car once again.

Very sorry to hear about your problems and I have to agree with Jeff a lot of locals around here hold Zentrum in high regard they are worth giving a try.
I also agree with Alan it is worth trying the Nottingham OPC I find the service department very good they will cost a bit more then Zentrum but it will be an official report.

Why not speak to them both and use the one that gives you most confidence.
