Hi, posted a few times on here, ex boxster owner now looking for a 944 project for over the coming months.
Had a look at one today red, 944s on an E plate. Looks in fairly good nick, all electrics work, little or non evident rust, some history but has stood for a little while.
Trouble is that it starts fine but then cuts out after a couple of minutes. Restarts fine but then cuts out again.
Is this something terminal or possibly an easy fix in your opinions and is there anything obvious that it could be.
While i have been looking for a little while i havent been clouded by the badge and shiny paint i dont wanna buy a pig but given my small budget i expect to do work which is the whole point.
Any pointers.

If its been stood i could be old petrol thats gone off but most likely it sounds like the dme relay (at least it was on one of mine).Where are you based as i will have a red 944 comimg up for sale soon.

Im Birmingham based. Im working on a very small budget compared to some but thats coz id quite like to do some bits and pieces myself and im not in a rush to get it done but please feel free to PM me the details.
