Hi all..

Been a PCGB member for over a year now but haven't been very active with regional events..only been to a few events this year..anyways..i'll try to catch up as soon as i get at least one of the 944s in a condition to drive out of town again..everything seems to be piling up since Silverstone Classic..the latest "suprise" was the moment when i popped bonnet near Stansted airport on my way to Ragley Hall..well..the balance belt was just hanging there because the lower tensioner had failed..so i had to cut the belt and drive all the way to Ragley and back home with no balance belt on..+the speedo cable failed..so the car is parked in my back yard for now..not much of a driver with 6 stitches in my knee(slipped monday afternoon and smashed one of the headlights in with it)..

sell all your problem cars and buy a 911 dude !!...........[;)]

86 Alpine White 944(waiting for new h/gasket)

85 Sapphire Metallic 944(new balance belt/tensioner/thermostat)

85 Guards Red 944(?donor? engine - no sign of h/gasket problem YET)

83 Zermatt Silver Metallic 944 Lux(now braking)

That's the plan..but i'll have to do better than £250 for that..although i'm quite sure that i'll always have at least one 944..they're the only cars i've ever owned..
So i'll just have to wait and save up as i couldn't insure a 911 til i'm 28 anyway..
And..i've noticed that it takes a lot more than a missing balance belt, thermostat etc to kill a 944..looks like it can be driven with half an engine missing with no probs..[;)]
