hopefully by next week-end i'll have added a 993 targa to my stable. i'm still not convinced about it.............


Have i done the right thing?

Bright yellow with yellow seat inserts hun! You would be ok manning a set of roadworks with that[:D]. At least its got the engine at the right end! Hope to see it soon hun!
 
Targa is nice. You'll love the car and how it rides but you won't like the tip gearbox knowing you so you'll be trading it next year for a manual 993 of some description ... or perhaps earlier than a year.

Best of both worlds I think but then I am biased. The manual version was a must for me but each to their own.

If anyone is looking for 993 Auto there will be a recently refurbished 993 Targa that has "had loads spent on it in the last 5 months" on the market in about 6 months [:D]

traded in the 964.( someones going to get themselves a very nice car there)so left it at Gmund on saturday.

decided to hang onto the sporto

356 = Zentrum have a end of august deadline to finish as i hear they are moving so want rid of it by then. its then got to go back up to bodyshop for finishing work & electrics

oh i do hope so, i rather got my arm twisted to buy it and have traded in an exceptional 964 in order to get it. would have prefered Manual but i told Larry he could have what HE wanted this time as i have always got to choose before.
He thinks it'll go better with the sporto.. but, i fear for the muscles in my left leg.

  1. Targa is an acquired taste - have you driven them enough to recognise the pros and cons. Ensure you check the roof operation thoroughly .. ! yes did that
  2. Given your level of car turnover, probably love one week, loathing the next .. [:D] harsh but true
  3. The 993 Register is a well-known hotbed of dissent, bad behaviour, and prima donna owners .. so you will be right at home !! .. [:)] pram re-loaded with toys and ready for action

lol! [;)][:D] very funny! 993 forum is about the only one I haven't taken the pixx out of yet! Cars are fantastic, wish I had one![8|]
 
ok i'm off to collect the car from Gmund Cars,

it'll need a register sticker [:D] anyone know the correct place to stick it [;)]
 
here i am collecting the car..

i'm ready for Ragley hall concours now. even got the fancy dress to match for extra point [:D][:D]
