Just thought I would say hi, I have just joined the Club and hope to pick my up 996 from 911 Virgin shortly. I have to say that Tom at 911 Virgin has to date been very good and surprising straight to deal with (unusual in a car dealer in my experience) which is reassuring.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I have managed to get a very good quote from Heritage insurance, so just got to pick the beast up.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]I might as well thank everybody in advance now, as I suspect I will be on here asking the most basic questions that have probably been asked a thousand times before.[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Thanks.[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

I had good dealings with Tom a few years ago - they are a pretty straight lot up there i think. Congrats on the purchase - also collecting a 996 this week, after a couple of years without a Porsche. Enjoy yours!

Welcome David!

But Martin is correct:

No we're not!

That's a very nice looking car, hope it gives many happy miles of service.

When you clean the inside of the wheels (which you will!) make sure you don't scape your knuckles on the brakes - I still bear the scars from the weekend [8|]

Welcome Pepi! I have sold one to and bought two off Tom including my current C4S - he has been outstanding to deal with before, during and after (sometimes months after) purchase. Good luck and enjoy.

..and of course black is fastest. :ROFLMAO:

I did research the issue of colour and as Silver is a lighter colour the car is lighter and therefore it goes faster, fact.

Yep,

Have to say having done significant testing in a secret airbase known as area 51, silver is definately the fasest colour!!!!!

Nice looking car, enjoy.
