Hi from new Macan owner, but old Porsche cars driver

Well we went to look at a new Cayenne a few weeks ago and my Wife Andrea in a moment of honesty said its Just too big to replace her Evoque. We looked around the cars at the rear of Porsche at Harston and a Macan caught her eye it was the wrong colour and wrong spec. But met the size required. I asked what a new car availability was and had my fears confirmed of 6 to 10 months. We cancelled our interest in the Cayenne and prepared for the journey back to Suffolk with me thinking we would have to wait to see the new Tiguan. Seeing a sale about to depart they proposed one final option, how about our six month old Macan S Diesel fully specced with a few more miles than you would possibly want but not excessive. Colour being white problem? Yes my wife was a community midwife and the NHS cars were white leaving her with a dislike of white. After some cajoling and pointing out most of the Porsche cars in the showroom were actually Porsche white more special than any other white! it appeared to be the in colour for the moment so She was won over and this Saturday found us driving our white Macan S (with lots of black highlights) through some intense rain and water logged roads arriving home very impressed.
first impressions well apart from white showing up every drop of tar on the flanks and rear Tailgate it's a tremendous drive crossing the 911 and Cayenne divide.
cheers
Paul
Oops I've called the Macan the Megane twice now so from this moment onwards it's the Porsche tiger we now own....
