Hi all ,
Andys the name from Barrybados
I have just bought a 944 S2. I was talked into it from a fellow member. After looking at varoius car up and down the country only two fitted the bill for me. But I went for this one in the end.Hope to meet you at various events

Good looking car - looks like original sills, everything as it should be... what's the interior like? cloth/leather/sports seats etc? More pictures please! Hope you have fun with it, they are really great to drive. If it's not mentioned in the history, a geometry check might be worthwhile, they can go out over time and they are so much better when correctly set up.

Hi andy,

Looks a great car mate. Would you mind PM'ing me with just a few details about it so I can be aware of what persuaded you, it's good bits etc? As stated by sr.944man get some more phots up and keep in with the forum with your initial thoughts of the S2?

Take care,

Mike

Hi and welcome to the joys (usually !) of 944 ownership and to echo the others, more details and pictures always appreciated !

I'm the culprit who has assisted Andy in getting the new car.

It is a 3 owner car with loads of Service history and recent belts and brakes done. Low mileage of just over 80k (you know I like low miles [;)])
Excellent bodywork and original solid sills by the looks of it with good wings and arches.
Interior is Marine Blue pinstripe seats (not Sport seats) in excellent condition with all electrics fully working.
Correct D90 wheels, New Stainless Steel exhaust system, new tailgate and bonnet struts, sunroof bag, cargo net, toolkit and compressor are also all present.

Only found 2 issues to be looked at now : LCD Display needs replaced but these are available from Alistair in Sterling or Germany (only difference seems to be a new bulb in the German kit?)

And the Blue Dash has a couple of cracks in the usual places. If anyone has a blue dash for sale or knows where there is one Andy is interested [:)]

Thank you Martin, And as he said all if you have a dash for sale I want one please

That's the wrong colour blue (It looks too light - more like Metropole)

The Interior is Marine Blue in this S2
