Hi, I'm new to PCGB and in Cumbria

Hi all,

As the title says, I'm new to the PCGB having purchased a 993 a little while ago.

I was stopped in the street by a friendly member and asked to come to the Cumbria '1st Tuesday of the month' meetings, I had no idea there were such things!

I then took it upon my self to join the PCGB and find out what its all about.

So... could anyone please tell where might this July/August meeting might be at then as I would like to come? [:)]

Welcome to Region 18.

We are attending the Cars The Stars The Classic Car Show, organised by Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club at Heaves Hotel, Levens, nr Kendal this Sunday, 19th July.. We would like you to join us if you are free.

We need to be at Heaves Hotel by 10.00 to gain entry. Lancashire members will be leaving Forton Services on teh M6 at 9.30am.

Tell the gatekeeper you are with Porsche Club and they will let you onto the club parking area. Bring a picnic and meet fellow R18 members. tjis is avery relaxed event, with plenty of attractions.

The next 1st Tuesday meeting will be at the Castle Inn, Bassenthwaite on 4th August.

Have look in Porschefile if you have a copy to hand, for Ged Kelly's contact details as he is Assistant Regional Organiser, who organises events in the north of the region.

Hi Tim,

If you are interested we are going to The Car's the Star Show at the Heaves Hotel, Levens near Kendal on Sunday 19th July. Bring a picnic as catering is basic. You will be able to meet up with the Lancashire contingent as well as our friends from Cumbria.

To answer your question.......The next meeting is on August 4th. at the Castle Inn, Bassenthwaite.

I was unable to attend today due to work issues, however I will definately be at the meeting at the Castle Inn.
