Hi,

Since buying my 74 911s last summer I have been meaning to join up and today I have got around to it. I am looking forward to meeting like minded people and sharing stories. I am based on the Essex/Suffolk border so hopefully (if todays brake rebuild goes well) I will be at the meet up tomorrow morning.

Have a great day and look forward to inputting into discussion (if I can help - I have rescued the 911s from 12 years storage and it is up and running).

Thanks Steve - sadly the brake job didnt work out so cant drive today :( - the caliper slide pins were stuck and I managed to remove one but the other I had to drill out so now waiting for some to turn up.... Hopefully the specialist in Brentwood will send the right parts...

Hi, and welcome to the club/ forum. The 911 is quite a strange little car, one which I'm sure you will find rewarding/ frustrating but worthwhile. I have owned my 911 for several years now and have become quite fond of it. I still have a massive list of things I need/ want to do. I have obviously gendered, and named it), which is part of the fun:)

Keeps us up to date with the things you do ( sharing is caring ). Good luck and enjoy, and remember it's just a car at the end of the day, but more importantly it's YOUR CAR so enjoy!
