I have now bought a 1982 SC to go with my Boxster S. Opportune timing, given that its the 30 year anniversary of the SC in 2008. Here are a few photos:

[8|][8|][8|] Mmmmmm I recognise those photos!! Welcome to the world of the 911SC mate, good to see you on here as well as impact bumpers [:D]

Enjoy.

Good question Nathan - and difficult to answer given I've driven the Boxster 1,000's of miles over the last 4 years and I've only had the SC for a month, 2 weeks of which she's been away having a service and some cosmetic work done. The SC has an undefineable quality about it, a real sense of occasion. The Boxster has just been given a belated Christmas present of new Michelin Pilot Sports and is great fun to drive.

I think I'll sit on the fence and say they're very different and neither is the best.

PS new tryes and a four wheel alignment/suspension set up at Centre Gravity makes all the difference! [:D]

Good answer, but my question was "Which car makes you feel the best when you get out of it"?

I will have to get CG to do my cars when I have them both up and running at the same time. I had my 3.2 done many years ago by someone that builds race cars, it made a big difference. I had some extra camber up front put in.

Whichever one I get out of makes me feel the best at that moment. Looking objectively, I'd say the SC, no the Boxster ....

Good answer, some people say the Boxster is a lonely car as it has no rear seats. I guess it is more practical for luggage though for two people?

very nice sc indeed....can i ask how many miles and wot u paid for her?? been thinking of one myself....i have a fantastic 997s which exceeds all expectations but i quite fance a classis

I have just joined the club and have a 1980 SC in the same colour as yours - good choice!. Welcome to SC ownership. Cheers Neil

Will down load some over the next few days - its the same as yours minus the whale tail. Its at autofarm at the moment getting mot and service - only needed a couple of bulbs for the mot - these cars are build to last!

I'm not sure how many miles mine has done as the speedo has been changed. From the service history I'd say about 150,000. However, money has been spent on the car over the years. Mechanically and bodywork wise, the car is sound.
