Hi,

I thought that if I'm in UK I should say hallo to all of you who have the same passion and live close to me.

I'm a student at Coventry University, I had two 924 2.0 back in Poland. Now I'm studying and dreaming about 944 s2 or Turbo.

Porsche Club Poland has only 7 year, but we have very good driving schools and a lot of great members. However I would like to learn from your club, to improve ours. If its ok?

We have recently very big meeting in Poznan - Poland.
Some links below if I would like to see how we spend time together:

But always after year we have some problems with grups for the next year.

Best regards,
andrzej/abelard

Welcome along...

The West Midlands meetings are only a few miles up the road from Coventry Uni..
Mind you it might pain to see cars the same as your own without yours being there...

Look like you had some good events in Poland..

You right.
However its better to see Porsche, even when I don't have one (not permanent state - I hope) than only watch pictures on which my friends have so much fun.

About annual event - yes. This year there was about 100 cars.

However I remember my first event, there was just 20 cars, and enough time to talk with everyone and share experience, nowadays it is little diferent.

Welcome to the UK, Gary is correct in the fact that you are in the west midlands Region. However should you wish to attend any of the East Midlands events we would be pleased to see you. A good friend of mine at College was Polish and introduced me to those wonderful Vodkas you have especially Gildenvassa.I hope you have a wonderful stay here. Thanks!
We have very good vodka - thats true. In Uk its very expensive and not so good. However I prefer to drink whisky like Jony Walker.

I think that I will say halo also to west... region.

Hi abelard - your limited edition Polish Porsche calendar was much better than we get over here!!!![8D]

This year it is going to be much better I think. If you want I believe that it is possible to get one. It is being made now. I can talk with I fellow who is doing calendar and maybe arrange bigger packege. But it just teory for now.

I'd be interested! The artist who did the last one had a making of video on you-tube and the pics on his website but they have all been taken down....tried to get a calendar but they were limited edition and sold out[&o]

Jason: as far as I know this year calendar will be made only in pdf format/file. I believe that there will be now problem to dowload it from our website, if not I will send it as fast as I will receive one.

Rick: It would be greate. I am not certanly sure, but I think you could become first 912 driver on our event in whole club history (I know 7 years...[;)]). Although this car is rare, I have to admit I have been driven one, when I was on my first year at university back in Poland. It was in great shape, green-yellow, and what was fanny I could see it each day when I wake up from a student flat window. This 912 is owned by a profesor of Technical University of Lodz. Best regards(=Pozdrawiam) also to Ewa.
