Hibernation

Because the salt put down to compensate for a lack of ability on the part of the British motorist is a car killer, galvanised or not. You only have to look at the state of my daily driver to see that there's still plenty of it about.

Respect to you Paul, but I got rid of all my hairshirts a long time ago!

Nope, Dorset, where the sea and rain is making a concerted effort to reclaim the land - and making a pretty good fist of it!
They're an odd bunch, the Portlanders, but he's still my "use in all weathers" hero. Trouble is, the sea nearly reclaimed his car along with the land last year! Didn't dampen his ardour though!

I think if these cars where fitted with wheel archs liners from new .more people would drive them in the winter

As Chris said the car was swamped by a 18ton truck on purpose from his bow wave,in last years floods and kept going for a few miles. It was recovered by MARQUE21 where we had just left after a Region 26Tech visit,dried out and running again . Just goes to show how good the cars are,and Porsche Specialists are,Marque 21 especially.
